Plaster bust of Dusk, one of four sculptures by Michelangelo Buonarroti, which were known collectively as Times of Day. The principal inspiration for these reclining figures came from the river gods of Antiquity. They were constructed using marble and were used to adorn the tomb of Lorenzo II de' Medici in the Medici Chapel in San Lorenzo in Florence.

Handmade by the Nicholas H Wood studio.
