This is a plaster cast reproduction of the death mask of Dante Alighieri. The cast is a copy of the original piece. Dante Alighieri was a renowned Italian poet born in Florence in 1265. His masterpiece, "The Divine Comedy," is an epic poem that explores the realms of Hell, Purgatory, and Heaven. The sculpture is handmade by the Nicholas H Wood studio.

The plaster cast has a wall hanging on the back.
