Plaster cast bust of the "Benevento Head", handmade by the Nicholas H Wood studio. Although often associated with Benevento (a city in Campania, Italy), the original sculpture was actually found in Herculaneum, and is a bronze bust of a young man, believed to be a portrait of Alexander the Great or a Hellenistic figure, and is known for its lifelike realism and emotional expression.
